Nothing better than when spring finally arrives after a long winter.

Attitude Adjustment

Frequent camping visits to Mark Twain Lake are required in order to continue in the working world, haha! I love being on the water this time of year when there is very little boat traffic.

Chasing Eagles

My favorite thing to do in the springtime at Mark Twain Lake.

Sabino Canyon

On the second day of our trip to Tucson, we visited Sabino Canyon National Park. “Sabino Canyon is a significant canyon located in the Santa Catalina Mountains and the Coronado National Forest north of TucsonArizona, United States. Sabino Canyon is a popular recreation area for residents and visitors of Southern Arizona, providing a place to walk, hike or ride. Minutes away from the desert are large waterfalls along Sabino Creek with minor bridges constructed over them. Wildlife in the canyon includes a range of animals. Some of which are deerjavelinaskunkstortoisesrattlesnakes and mountain lions. Like most places in Arizona, there are also owls, and scorpion which are very common in Tucson hiking trails.”, Wikipedia

Big Muddy

On a January day it got up to 61 degrees so I made a point to get outside. Headed over to the Boone Crossing Unit of the Big Muddy National Wildlife refuge. I think the eagle enjoyed it as much as I did.

Mockingbirds Don’t Sing

Strolling up the Butterfly Lane and found a pretty little Mockingbird perched at the top of a pine tree.
